Yes I will second that.

I am booked for my normal 4 nights, that is all the excitement I can stand at my age

Only 67 days to go, I amuse myself by working out the hours. OK its 1601 now till that Eurostar pulls in to Gare du Nord

Frankly, I think all of us who have trips planned are lucky! I am just thankful that I count myself among the OPF group - you guys are all so wonderful.

Yeah Katherine! Sigh.................One whole month in Paris. Time to stop and smell the roses, time to sip a glass of wine and watch the world go by, time to get lost and discover all kinds of wonderful new places and things, time to really look at all those works of arts in all those great museums and not just scratch them off a list, time to become a regular at the boulangerie, the fromagerie, the little corner cafe, and most of time, time to discover more about yourself.

I'm so happy for you!!

It will be so long before our next trip we started counting it in weeks .. years or months were too depressing. So...84 weeks go to and we started out at 93.

Well, have started my paris homework. Watched "Something's gotta give" last night just to see the last couple of scenes. remember, I am Scottish so the SuperBowl to me is nothing unless filled with cold salted porridge. MMMM yummmmmm.
Went to our local bistro and ordered in French. Madam repeated it in English so, we got on OK. Had a croque monsieur and Stella the quiche both of which Madam said were classics. I always thought that a croque monsieur was like a grilled cheese with ham in the middle but mine came as two slices of bread with a slice of ham and melted cheese on top. Open faced even. It tasted good anyway as did Stella's quiche.
We have another movie with scenes of Paris in it. "View from the Top". Chick flick of course but Gwinnyth Paltrow in hot pants is worth watching any day of the week and the scenes of Paris are quite magical.
Oh well I miscounted and we have 86 days to go. Cloud 9 bobbed over me for a bit but will be looking down on it again by next week.

I want to be in Paris and I want to be there RIGHT NOW, not in the 235 days I have to wait! And in 30 days I'll be in London, so near yet so far because we have too many things to do there!

I haven't been around in such a long time and this is my first activity. Hope you appreciate it, my dear friend!
One more thing, what are your Paris dates in October? I want to do a little planning now. The Fete de Vendange de Montmartre starts on October 6.......

Katharine - a whole month! How wonderful! I had 4 weeks last September/early October but only spent a total of 4 days and 2 nights - part of that is a weekend. Will have to make it up this year!!!

Sandy - I will be there June 9 - July 7. I am staying in the Parisian Living apartment that Gail Bosclair offers on Perfectly Paris. janetnj stayed there and loved it, so I am really excited about that, and the location in the relatively tourist-free 17th.

Jo - I am hopeful to become a regular in several neighbor stops. I am mostly excited to have the time to try out many of the Paris markets. I have such a long list (my current favorite is the Grenelle market). Learning more a bout myself woud be such an added bonus. But I really will have time to stop and smell the roses - including the roses that bloom only in June at the Roseraie de Val de Marne.

Jody - I am showering pity on you. However, look at it this way. You have a trip on the horizon to London (fun, fun) and then you woll be back just in time to plan Paris. Yay!

Lilia we arrive in Paris on the 7th from London.We like to fly direct to London on BA or Virgin and take the train. So we'll be wide awake and ready to party from the 7th on
