I think that Atelier Maitre Albert could possibly have the best service I've ever experienced in Paris.
As soon as you go in, there are people there to greet you by name, to take your coat, to make you happy and at home. They bring you to the table, they bring you snacks, they bring you drinks immediately. They are all smiles and helpful friendliness.
The food is good, specializing in rotisserie chicken, but they have some reallly inventive appetizers and desserts as well. The meal is so well timed you never have to ask for a thing except your check, they don't rush you out whatsoever. The chicken is excellent, but the mashed potatoes are what I go for. Good grief, they are delish. And they have this praline chocolate decadent cake thing that calls my name every time, I hope they never take it off their menu.
I just love this place and can't say enough good things about it. It has the perfect mix of service/ food/ atmosphere and I will go back every time I'm in Paris. I highly recommend...
Oh, one nice thing they do. As you leave, while they are getting your coat, the hostess offers you a Vichy mint. It's very cute...

They are right on the Rue Maitre Albert, almost all the way to the Seine, in the 5th. Nearest metro is Maubert Mutualite.
And by happenstance they are right across the street from le Reminet!

Thanks les...I remember you talking it up before. The Apartment we chose for Dec is right in the neighborhood, so since I've been to Le Reminet I was thinking about giving Atelier Maitre Albert a try. Now I definitely think we will!!

Yes she did talk it up before and we went in February! Everything Les said and more! It was included in one of my trip reports on TA.
And a fireplace!
I'm going to try Le Reminet on my next rip!*
*was going to modify that but decided it might apply!
