Touring the balkans this autumn. Maybe next year, hope to tour the us with Amtrak for the honeymoon, just have to convince my good lady that it will be luxurious enough!

My wife and I began visiting Paris in 2000 when I began photographing for my book "The French Landscape" which was
published recently. This fall will be our 7th trip to Paris.

I have just retired from my business after 40 years. We sold our
house and moved into our condo last year.
We are now 4 miles south of SFO.

Our 4 kids and 8 3/4 grandchildren are doing well. 3 of the
4 kids have been to Paris and love it.

Hi

My husband and I live in Edmonton Canada with our large "fur-child", a 6 year old Shepherd cross named Pyke.

We were in Paris for the first time last year on our way to Germany, Austria and Switzerland and fell in head over heels in love with the city. While I have traveled to New Zealand, Fiji, London and Portugal, this was my husband's first time overseas and he was fully bitten by the travel bug - thank god!

We will be back in Paris for a week with my sister and brother in law in May on our way to Finland to visit our niece who is there on a year long Rotary exchange - and I have to brag here that she is only the 3rd aboriginal kid from Canada to take part in this!

Love this forum, you all have great information and I am looking forward to trying some of the restaurants that have been recommended.

That's Paris for you and liucky you your husband is just as entranced. Thatmake things so much easier. We'll be in Paris in May too next year so maybe we'll meet up and have a drink!

You have certainly been bitten by the travel bug and it's so wonderful that your husband now has the same ailment. Big congrats to your niece! I don't have kids either, except the four legged kind, and I know the feeling of having a fabulous niece.

Looking forward to seeing you around here a lot.

I am usually in Paris in May, do you know your dates yet?

We, along with the "Vs" above, will be in Paris May 6th to 12th and would enjoy getting together for a drink with whoever else happens to be there at that time

We' ll be there around the 6th. I want to go to the Bastille Brocante and it starts on the 6th.

We'll make a plan closer to May. Maybe my good friend Darcy will be there too! She loves brocantes as much as I do.
